SHYAMA KUVER | Heart over crown

I had the privilege of being in the group show at Transformer Gallery in Washington, DC for there E20 summer show on printmaking. I learned so much from the other artists and our mentor, Rose Jaffe. 
 

These works are meditations on the concept of wayfinding. Each piece is screen printed on handmade mulberry paper. 

Wayfinding is the process of using the natural world to navigate your way across new and (un)known spaces. 
 

Using new and old technologies like NASA's star maps, screen printing techniques, and Fijian hand-made paper to explore how I wayfind in reverse.
